Programming

As a member of the Organization of Saskatchewan Art Councils (OSAC), the La Ronge Arts Council brings at least 3 “Arts on the Move” touring visual art exhibits to Mistasinihk Place each year.  In addition, we feature the work of local artists, and try to have a new exhibit on the walls at Mistasinihk Place every month.

Our performing arts season starts with the Napatak Ramble (www.napatakramble.com) at the end of June.  Our regular concert season runs from October to April and includes at least 3 touring OSAC shows, as well as several local music nights featuring La Ronge musicians.

The La Ronge Arts Council Board of Directors, in consultation with its membership, applies for funding to provide community programming, workshops, art classes, Culture Days celebrations, concerts, and the Napatak Ramble.  We thank Community Initiatives Fund, Canada Heritage, SaskCulture, Sask. Arts Board, CARFAC, and OSAC for making our programming possible.  Please see our Events page and Calendar to see what we have lined up for this season!
