Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. This will be a quick note as I have been subbing for the past month and heading south tomorrow for an appointment and off to Spain. I still have to pack! The Members’ Exhibition looks amazing. Then talent in our communities is unmatched. Thanks to everyone who contributed art. 

Our last concert of the season is Tommy Charles on April 18th. He really was an exhilarating and entertaining performer at last year’s showcase. He can sing country, swoon like the crooners and sing and dance like Elvis. We changed the venue as ticket sales were a bit sluggish.The new venue is Eagle Point which is always a treat. Please spread the word and get your tickets soon. If you choose to purchase your tickets via e-transfer, I may not get back to you right away with the time change in Spain. All ticket sales will be on our email so I’ll be able to check when I’m there or when I get back.

Keep an eye out for the reception. It is slated for April 21st, but we may change it as it conflicts with Peanuts Productions. Stay tuned for more info.

Lastly, we have scheduled our AGM for May 26 at 7 pm. We need a few more board members as a few are stepping down. Please plan to attend if you are interested. We are a working board so there is a lot to do. A lot of members and the public have asked for more classes. There is a lot to do if we are to maintain or increase our current slate of programming. So, if you’d like to see more or to help with what we do, please plan on attending and possibly running for a position.
